The BEST Side Salad Recipe
I should thank my mother-in-law for educating me easy methods to make the BEST of the greatest when it involves facet salad recipes. The lady has a few critical salad skillzzzz, and I couldn’t wait to share her mystery with you. Don’t worry, I requested for her permission!
For this facet salad, there are NULL foods to her facet salad recipe which will perpetually switch the method you make yours. I promise. (Ok, effectively possibly I don’t promise simply due to the fact no longer everybody likes what I like… but I actually have a sense 90% of you'll really sense the method I do.) Ingredients
3 heads romaine lettuce
1 Tablespoon dried basil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 roma tomato chopped
3-4 Slices cooked bacon chopped
2 boiled eggs chopped
1/4 cup celery chopped
1/4 cup carrots chopped
Instructions
Slice romaine leaves off of white stems, (discard white stems) and chop lettuce into small items and pour in big serving bowl.
Next layer on to the lettuce, the tomato, bacon, eggs, celery, carrots, and cheddar cheese.
Sprinkle on upper the garlic powder and the dried basil.
Serve with possibility of dressing. (Our favourite is to make the Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing, with the seasoning packet, buttermilk, and mayo.)
