The Easiest Crispy Baked Tofu

Crispy Oven-Baked Tofu

I were loving those crispy baked tofu bites lately!

If you’ve by no means had baked tofu before, I’m certain you may love how simple and delicious it is. I used no longer to take pleasure in plain agency tofu that a lot but that was simply due to the fact I didn’t recognize methods to practice it and methods to make it style good.

Ingredients

    125 g extra-firm tofu
    1/2 tsp curry powder
    1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 200C or 400F.
    Drain the tofu and gently press it among your fingers to take away a few of the water.
    Cut the tofu into thin slices and cut the slices in half (see photos). The thinner the tofu bites, the crispier they'll be.
    Place the tofu cubes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with curry powder and sesame seeds. Toss gently till the tofu is flippantly coated on equally sides.
    Arrange the tofu cubes at the parchment paper so they do no longer overlap and bake for 15 minutes. Flip the cubes over and bake for 5 extra minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

    How to shop the tofu bites: I shop the tofu bites within the fridge in an hermetic container for three days. You can consume them chilly or reheat them within the oven for a number of minutes.
