Creamy Shrimp Pasta with Mushrooms

Creamy Shrimp Pasta with Mushrooms in a delicious do-it-yourself alfredo sauce. This recipe has all of the flavors you’ll love: shrimp, mushrooms, garlic, basil, beaten red pepper flakes, paprika, Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese.


I love shrimp and it tastes vast on this creamy shrimp and mushroom pasta.  But no longer lots of my chums make recipes with shrimp as lots as I do, and I assume for lots of people, all of it boils down to questions like:  Well, what are you able to do with shrimp?  What sauce to consume with shrimp?

To me, the greatest option to practice dinner and consume shrimp is in a luscious creamy sauce with pasta!  And, don’t neglect mushrooms – they move amazingly effectively with shrimp!

This recipe is the reply to all these questions, and it be also an embarrassingly simple recipe. Plus, this creamy shrimp pasta with mushrooms is gluten loose friendly, as all you should do is use gluten loose pasta rather of a traditional pasta.

Ingredients

    8 oz fettuccine pasta (for gluten loose version, use gluten loose brown rice pasta)
    1/2 cup cooked pasta water (optional)
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 lb shrimp (10 huge shrimp or 20 small shrimp with out shells, deveined)
    3 garlic cloves , minced
    1/4 teaspoon dried basil
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    8 oz mushrooms , thinly sliced
    1 cup half and half
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
    1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

 
Cook pasta

    Cook pasta according to package deal deal instructions. Drain. Reserve a few of pasta water.  While the pasta is cooking, practice shrimp alfredo sauce as defined within the subsequent steps. 

How to practice dinner shrimp
    Heat a big skillet till hot - upload 2 tablespoons of olive oil and within the present day upload garlic and shrimp. 

    Cook on one area for about 1 minute till pink, on medium-high heat.

How to make shrimp Alfredo sauce:

    To the skillet with mushrooms, upload cooked shrimp. Immediately upload 1 cup half-and-half.  Bring to boil.
