Cheese Tortellini with Butter, Mushrooms, and Crispy Sage

The butter sage sauce is absolutely delicious, and it’s competent in about 10 minutes.  Crispy sage is fairly trendy, but it’s fashionable as it tastes good. It basically takes about a minute to make the sage crispy, and it truly makes all of the difference within the tortellini butter sauce.



I needed so as to feature anything different than sage and butter to this recipe, so I concept mushrooms might be the correct choice. All you do is quick sear them so they’re flippantly browned, they usually complement the tortellini fabulously.

Ingredients

    1 (25 ounce) package deal deal cheese tortellini
    1 tablespoon recent sage chopped
    7 ounces cremini mushrooms sliced
    3 tablespoons butter divided
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 clove garlic minced
    1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
    Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

    Boil water for the tortellini and cook dinner it according to package deal deal instructions.

    Meanwhile, prep the mushrooms and the sage.

    When the pasta is waiting 6-7 minutes from being ready, upload 1 tbsp of the butter and the olive oil to a skillet over medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, upload the sage. Cook it for about a minute till it crisps up. Take it out of the pan and set aside.

    Add the mushrooms, garlic, and one other tablespoon of the butter to the pan. Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or till the mushrooms are well browned.

    Add the tired tortellini, final butter, parmesan cheese, and sage to the pan. Toss till everything's well coated. Season with salt & pepper as needed. Serve immediately.
